Kansas City Renaissance Festival: The Renaissance Festival is still going strong in Kansas City. This weekend’s theme is Wine, Chocolate and Romance. Halloween Haunt: Prepare to be scared at Worlds of Fun this weekend. Enter terrifying mazes, scare zones and view haunting live shows on top of the thrilling rides Worlds of Fun already boasts. American Royal: The American Royal is in full swing this weekend. Start off your weekend with the American Royal’s 89th Annual Parade, attend the 4th Annual American Royal Youth Leadership Day Conference and end your night with the PRCA Rodeo. KC Beer Fest: Head down to the Power and Light District Saturday for the 6th Annual Beer Fest presented by the Flying Saucer. The festival boasts more than 200 craft beers from around the world, rare keg tappings, live music, food trucks and gourmet food booths. General admission starts at 3pm, but tickets are limited.
