Weekends in KC: November 14-16

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Seattle Seahawks: Put on your red this weekend as the Chiefs take on the Seahawks this Sunday at Arrowhead. The 6-3 Chiefs are looking to win their 5th game in a row. Independence Square Holiday Lighting Ceremony: Get in the holiday spirit this Saturday at the Independence Square. Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders and Independence Mayor Eileen Weir host the lighting ceremony at the historic Jackson County Truman Courthouse. Strong Ale Beer Festival: Fans of strong beers, this festival is for you. Westport is holding its 4th Annual Strong Ale Beer Festival outside of McCoy’s Public House on November 15 from 1-5pm. Tempt your taste buds with 70 different brews from 30 craft breweries from the U.S. and abroad. Get a chance to mingle with other beer lovers and the brewers themselves.
